From the Static Press Kit:
Wesley was born on the mean streets of Lakeview where he quickly learned that if he didn't turn to more creative things in his life he would never get out alive. At a young age he found the love of television when his parents used it as his babysitter. Being raised on Saved By the Bell, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Pete and Pete have made him the man he is today. They taught him important skills like punching lockers, ordering French fries, and crossing a Styrofoam ridden pool in less than 30 seconds. And though he was never able to afford a fanny pack, he always wanted one. This taught him humility and instilled in him an enviable sense of style that he continues to show today.
After many favors and much luck he made it to Loyola of New Orleans’ school of Television (r.i.p.) and learned quickly that television was a world of eat or be eaten. This was about the time when he met Chris Watson (owner of Park the Van Records). Chris taught him that there was more to life than Bounce Music. Wesley was sure he was wrong but stuck around long enough to find out he wasn't. Wesley learned about other forms of music such as Contemporary Thug Ballads and Ambient Washboard. He wanted to be a part of this music more than he ever wanted that fanny pack. Than one warm New Orleans’ night in 2006 Casey Kasem came to Wesley in a dream and whispered the meaning of life to Wesley, but all he heard was static. The static was thick and intriguing, much like Mr. Belding's hair. Wesley knew this was a sign. He woke up the next morning and set out to make the best independent music video show the 504 had EVER seen.
