Whos The Gabba and exactly what does that mean? To answer the question the Gabba is a rap artist straight out of Frisco California the capitol city of the BAY the new urban music Mecca. What the Gabba means is having the gift to gab in lyrical terms so thats how the name the Gabba came up. Now lets dissect the history of The Gabba the artist. He first started rapping in the 5th grade at the age of ten to just compete with fellow students to see who could write the best rap. That continued in high school. Inspired by the emergence of local artists having a lot of success and some even sighning to majors around 95 that was extra incentive to work hard at his craft. That inspired him to rent out studio time himself while in High school with money made from various after school jobs. He seen the fruits of his labor produce when after graduating form high school he caught the attention of a local studio owner who signed him to a two-year production/manager deal. With that he was able to learn engineering, producing, and song recording and constructing skills. With those songs he was able to open for many artist, Eminem, Wylcef, Salt+Pepper, The Temptations, Xzibit, Foxy Brown to name a few. Also with those songs he released an EP independently contains 6 songs that gave him a buzz so people recognized his name. After some ventures with other associates end up not working out he refocused his grind and hooked up with Prince Thomas a child hood friend turn producer and started recording which would become His first full length album Broadcasting Live. With a gang of tracks under his belt its time to grind so get ready for the movement The Gabba coming with that bay vibe with a focus on lyrical swagger and original sound.
