A native of the nation's captial growing up in Southeast D.C wasn't always easy. An area where violence is a way of life, school was just a hobby and if you don't like it you don't go.Goddess Qadesh Auset, eldest of four siblings,raised by the hand of a triumphant single parent found refugee in music at the tender age of 11 years old. Her childhood dreams of being a professional entertainer was encouraged by her peers and fans who witnessed her spitting her skills as they say in the world of poetry,while hanging out on campus at Ballou Senior High School. Because she always felt the fire of music infusing her being the drive was becoming a bit much for those around her and they tried to discourage her from pursing her dream. During the tribulation period the folly in her youthful heart was also causing some friction amongst her leaders.As life in Linden Pollin where she grew up and SouthEast D.C became overwhelming her passion shielded her from becoming a product of her environment. This black butterfly has been spotted in some of D.C's most influential spots; Tampon Sista On Tour 2002, Bohemian Cavern,Bar Nun, Kaffa House,D.C Public schools and Club Andalus,to name a few. She's contantly writting new material and harnessing her craft.In a world that's yearing for freshness and unique beauty this Black Butterfly is spreading her wings in the South Bronx NY where she was seen at the Pantene Total Youth Tour 2005 at the Jabcob Javis Center NY.Goddess Qadesh Auset is creating her own in the world of art and creativity.Goddess Qadesh Auset was soliciting her Demo CD in the New York area.When Rick Beats of 4 wheel Records contacted her,and ask her would She like to come to New York.
