I like to play games. Card games mostly, like Spades, but I'm also a huge fan of the board games...Taboo, Cranium, Pictionary, Scattergories, and even Monopoly (a little bit) but only if it's the Disney one b/c I get emotionally attached to the "properties."
I used to want to meet Robert Downey Jr, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized, he's better left a fantasy, b/c real things hardly ever live up to expectations. I guess there's no one I really WANT to meet...I'll just take 'em as they come.
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
I don't really have like, favorite music. I just listen to whatever's on the radio. I like oldies...especially when Robert Downey Jr dances to them in a unisex bathroom.
I like the romantic comedies. Notting Hill, My Best Friend's Wedding (Maybe I just have a thing for Julia Roberts). Bend it like Beckham was awesome...made me move to England for five months. About a Boy. A League of Their Own (that scene where Tom Hanks threw the baseball glove at the kid...I can watch it a hundred times a day and still laugh so hard that I cry every time). It's hard listing my FAVORITE movies, and in the grand scheme of things, putting that on my profile isn't really that important, so these are the ones I thought of for now.
I have no more time for t.v. since I've started working. Once school starts, I'll probably have even less time for t.v. but I will probably make time for these: Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, (Ok, I know, I'm a big sappy romantic dork, but it is what it is.) Scrubs, the O.C. (even though it has progressively sucked since the most awesome first season) Dancing With the Stars (even though I hate reality TV), Gilmore Girls, Lost, and Friends. Ok, THIS is why I love Robert Downey Jr so much. This probably won't mean anything to anyone who didn't watch Ally, but I did watch it, and I love him.
Oh my gosh! I'm in love with books right now and will read almost anything I get my hands on (unless it has anything to do with non-fiction). I love all the Harry Potters, and the Woman in White, and even if it makes me a silly little girl, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I love Jane Austen, with Pride and Prejudice being my favorite (it doesn't hurt that Mr. Darcy is played by the oh-so-amazing Colin Firth), and Mansfield Park a close second. Little Women is also one of my all-time faves, having read it like, four times. Currently, I'm reading the Moonstone, which should be good b/c it's another mystery by the same guy who wrote Woman in White, and then onto the Count of Monte Cristo and Memoirs of a Geisha. Mystic River and Snow Falling on Cedars are also worth mentioning as faves.
