I also read other stuff, like the Harry Potter series, some Poetry / Philosophy / Psychology type things, and of course the random paperback romances that a girl just needs to read sometimes.......

Heroes:

I don't like the idea of idealizing or "worshipping" others, or trying to be like others. They already have that gig, and have their hands full working at it, so.. I think you should try focusing inward.
Also, I feel it's kind of silly to want to be like anyone else, mostly because I think you can never totally know or judge anyone's life because you can never really know the full story from the outside looking in. I take my own life as a prime example of that.
On the subject of "judging" though, (which several people say I do, even though I just explained why it's a flawed exercise), I think it's wise to learn from experience, especially NOT YOUR OWN, so that you don't have to live the pain of the mistakes in order to reap the pleasure of their lesson.
Also, I think, you should try to live and BE the world you want to live in. So if you think the world sucks or people aren't fair or kind or whatever you think, YOU have to BE THAT. Be Fair. Be Kind. Be Compassion. Be Love. Be That thing.. That Universe, all in yourself that you WISH existed, and that is the ONLY way to INSURE that it DOES exist.
So, back to judging, I guess that's my philosophy. If I want to BE the world I want to live in, then I also have to make choices about the influences in that world. And if negative influences, (or what I deem negative in my universe/picture of life), or people try to invade, I have to shut them out.
It's a constant choice, about what you find acceptable in your universe. I choose what I find acceptable in mine, and I guess that does make me seem judge-y, but mostly it's more about ME than about anyone else.
Just because I don't want to dwell in anyone else's negative energy, doesn't mean I HATE them or think they are ALL BAD or whatever. (And that doesn'e mean someone never gets a second chance either. I think we are all evolving, so you just never know.)
It just means that doesn't work FOR ME. I'm just busy, got my hand FULL, just working on me. Just trying to evolve and grow and learn and be in a better and increasingly more ME place as I go on living this life.. MY life.
So basically, I admire aspects or moments or snippets of other people's lives which influence me, but I don't think I have any overall HEROES whom I look up to.
Basically I just think you should just try to be the best YOU you can be, and that'll be plenty!...
but, having said all that... "serious stuff"....
I wouldn't be me if I didn't add...
