Raised in the streets and music by music veterans B-12 & Daric B., John Dough started his training early at age 16. Working from a street promoter to a road manager and eventually as a label executive, he has done it all. In less than eight years, John Dough has had the privilege and blessing to hone his skills in the trenches where it mattered the most.
His label Silent Partner Records has released projects with rap legends Taydatay from 11/5, Messy Marv, I-Rocc and most recently, San Diego native and future star CG of The A-Team. An impressive feat for anyone, much less a 24 year old with no college degree and only his experiences and game to get him by. In addition to his label duties, John Dough is a popular mixtape DJ and Host having released five mixtapes that have all done well nationally.
After a down time in the music business, John Dough added film maker to his already impressive resume. Launching his multi-media company LCA Multi-Media, John Dough began to offer graphic design, photography and video production to those in need particularly those in the entertainment business.
After shooting videos for MC Eiht, Casual, Da Unda Dogg, A-Wax, Smigg Dirtee, and many more, John Dough was recruited as Director of Photography for the indie urban comedy WANNABES. WANNABES stars Noel G from Training Day and Fast & The Furious fame as well as rap star Guerilla Black. John Dough also oversaw the post-production of WANNABES and was instrumental in securing distribution for the films with video powerhouse Image Entertainment.
