About Me

Lukas Micka is a Prague based DJ who came across electronic music around 1995. With years going by, new information and experience gained, he decided together with DJ Malkao to share their music with wide audience through a night called „Postouchanicko” in 2002, which has found its resort first in the Prague..s Mrtva Vrana club, then in the Norton club and nowadays its home is especially in Prague..s independent culture centre, Palace Akropolis. His compact DJ sets are a mixture mostly of deep and minimal house. Lukas has signed up appearancies not only in the above mentioned clubs – Mrtva Vrana, Norton, Palace Akropolis - but also in others, such as the Roxy club, Chateau Rouge, Bukanyr, PH+, Le Mirage, Fleda, Perpetuum, Zero or Point Bar (Lausanne, Switzerland) and many other clubs in the Czech Republic. Lukas recorded a promo DJ set for the czech electronic magazine XMAG, which in the April 2006 edition was valued with 9 points out of 10. Lukas was also an editorial member of a czech music info server about electronic music “Tech-House.cz“ bringing news from the electronica sphere (especially deep and minimal house) on a daily basis (interviews, reviews etc.). He played alongside international DJs such as Jeff Bennett (SWE), Rich Sutcliffe (UK), Pornbugs (DE), Jim Felli (USA), Jonni Gratts (BEL), Ray McPhoney (AT) and almost every significant DJ in the Czech Republic. He also featured as a guest on the radio shows of Radio Akropolis or Dance Radio. Since 05/2008 he is a member of "Techno.cz" crew.
