About Me

Born in Pawtucket, RI on Oct. 3, 1977 screaming at the injustice of it all; with a chip on both shoulders. Son of a truck driver and secretary who rarely smiled at each other. Mother taught me how to laugh, father taught me how to work. Very loud family. Older sister named Tara who was not all that nice to me growing up, but she's pretty nice to me now. Raised in Rehoboth, MA surrounded by fortunates with the taste of silver forever on their tongues who only talked to you if you came from the right tax bracket, wore the right sneakers and could afford Z Cavaricci trousers. And yes, I bought into it. Played golf in high school, wasn't that interested. Enlisted in the United States Navy when I was 17, got out when I was 21. Saw some messed up stuff: bloated bodies at TWA 800 plane crash, gypsy kids getting their fingers broken by marines in Romania, American imperialism and military superiority: sickening. Got coked to the gills in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Went to University of Rhode Island after Navy. Did theatre, did some shows, met some cool people and was taught by some very smart instructors. After URI went to London because America was/is getting crazier and crazier and am now attending the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company over the summer in the Complete Works production of Troilus and Cressida. I was a Trojan warrior. Hung out with Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. My father once worked for a paper/printing company in Sharon, MA. He had to transport paper goods all over Mass. and RI. He once brought home a poster that the company had made with all these famous historical figures: Jesus, Galileo, Bobby and John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Ghandi, Abe Lincoln, etc. He told me, "Just about all these guys on this poster were killed." I just stared. He continued, "They were killed because they told the truth and filled people with hope."
