Hallo Governer! Me name is David Wilson, me european name is Devad Wilso, and my gangsta name is Deedubbw. I grew up in New Jersey till 7, then manifested in San Juan Capistrano California till 21, made a pilgrimage to Chicago to study film and dance till 28, and have spent the last 5 years in Long Beach and Vista. I been trying to rule the world with my films and choreography, but just haven't found my proper groove. I'm stoked about the myspace thing cause now my work is available for the world to see. On the video page my most prized works are "O my beating heart" and "Donut Love. I have a dog named Shane who is my bestest bud, but he's 13 and getting a little dusty. I do enjoy a frosty bevarage now and then, also I'm man enough to admit I enjoy drinking cosmos. He obtained a knowledge of directing, editing, lighting, and screenwriting for film, also singing, hand to hand combat, swordplay, modern dance, ballet, butoh, irish, spanish dance, and numerous acting techniques In 1998, He formed the performance art group The AVID DVD Society. Using Wu-Tang techniques of fist of fury films, teeter-totter theatre, and melo-dramatic modern dance. The AVID DVD Society strives to illuminate the humor and horror of our everyday lives. The ADS has been quoted as "Just plain odd" by the Chicago tribune and "Lots of energetic, high spirited choreography” by the Chicago reader. The ADS has performed in the Around the Coyote Arts festival, Dance Chicago, and The Motivity Dance Festival in Chicago, The Glue performance series in Philadelphia, and the Carnival Choreographers Ball at the keyclub in Hollywood.His short films Donut Love & O My Beating Heart have appeared in the Rooftop film festival in New York, The Slamdance & Tromadance film festival in Utah, The Around the Coyote film festival in Chicago, and The Los Angeles International Short Film Festival.In November 1998 he founded, produced, and curated The Heartzz & Bonies Performance Art Festival. A multi media festival featuring nationwide-cutting edge choreographers, filmmakers, and musicians. The festivals have been produced at the National Pastime Theater (1998) and Links Hall (1999) in Chicago, The Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theater (2002) in Long Beach, and Highways Performance Space (2004)in Santa Monica.Recently David was hired by the dance moving forward festival to be a guest choreographer for LA Valley Colleges Spring Dance Production and is pursuing an acting career in LA.
