I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am still proud to be a "Buckeye" no matter that I have lived in Florida most of my life that I could have been a "Native." My heritage is: Scottish/Irish, PA. Dutch(Father's side) German and Dutch (Mother's side). I speak fluent Spanish thanks to all my friends that helped me learn the language!
I have 2 half sisters and 1 brother. My brother's name is Johnny and he lives in Kentucky with his wife and 6 children. He is older than I am. I have never met him but I hope to one day.My oldest sister is Rose. She lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her husband Bill and son Gilbert. Gilbert holds a 3rd degree Brown belt in Karate. He also plays many musical instruments. Her daughter Christina lives in New Jersey and is an ordained Minister in the Salvation Army.My younger sister is Kathy. She lives in Florence, Kentucky with her daughter Jennifer and her mother. My step-mother is Carol and she is very sweet. Carol also has 6 daughters and 1 son. So I have a big family!My sisters and I are very close. I will be posting pictures soon of my sisters and I soon. We had a family reunion in 1998. It was great to see my Dad again after so many years.Then because I love children so much that I became a Preschool teacher. I had always wanted to teach children. I have been teaching for 13 years now. While working as a teacher, I also went to college to get my degree. The children I teach always want to sit near me when we are sitting in a circle to learn new things. Every morining when I arrive at work, they all rush up to me to give me a hug. That makes my day.
