About Me

Mark Hanyecz is a 22 year old collage student living in Hungary. He is into drum and bass since '98 after being at the legendary Ed Rush local party.He's been collecting vinyls since 2004.In the begining he mostly searched for minimal techstep sounds and liquid funk as well but nowadays he is only keen on liquid funk.He's not selecting the tunes concentrating on which record label it's released, in his opinion it leads to narrow-mindness. According to this he doesn't have a favorite label.. As for favourite producers: Kubiks, Lomax, Bcee, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, D-Bridge, Commix, Klute, Young Ax, The Funktastics,Electrosoul System, Seba & Robert Manos, Redeyes, Basic Operations,Breakage,Bungle, Cls,Wax, Jazz Thieves, Dj Marky.Since 2003 he has been organising local drumandbass parties at Budaspest and after that for a short period he had the chance to be part of a dnb radio show at Kando Fm. In 2004 he had the opportunity to make his own drum and bass show with Chin0 at the biggest hungarian netradio station called Torespont Radio (http://torespont.com).The show is called Sunday Grunge and it's on air every sunday from 19 to 21 CET. In the past 2 years he has played many local and private gigs as well stipulated in the country side and in the capital.He started to make music in 2005 - the tunes are mostly containing deep soulful liquidish basslines and melodies.
