Alpha Scorpii was founded by McSim and Cybernoid in 1998. McSim discribed this style as Polyphonic Minimalism, however it mixes dark expressive ambient (or darkwave?) with melodic music phrases among atmospheric and even sympho-blackmetal elements in equal proportion. Compositions are so worked out that you'll never feel bored during the listening. There are plans for the official first release in the nearest future. Some songs are available on CORONACH Records compilations CDs.

The project was frozen from 2001 to 2006.
Since summer 2003 McSim starts his label Korporaziya Mostrow ( "Corporation of Monsters" ), since spring 2004 member of deathcore band Master Killer (2nd vox & frontman).
