About Me

I find words very inadequate in terms of describing the complexities of an individual's personality. Never-the-less, I am relaxed by nature, easy going, but hard working. I tend to be an optimist, looking for the positive aspects in life. My mind in always open, looking to try new things, listen to different music, meet more interesting people and visit fantastic places. If you want to get to know me and be my friend, you'll find that I'm always a good listener and I'm there whenever you need to talk (except when I'm at work). Now to cover the negative part, I am currently going through a divorce. My wife had an affair, cheated and left me for another man in early July. I am long since over her and never taking her back. The bad stuff aside, I am very nice to all and treat everyone the same way I would expect to be treated. Learn some more things about me via my Yahoo Messenger screen name; squawkybirdy and my AIM screen name; radioactivecrabs. I'll be happy to chat with you, when I'm not working or busy.

My Interests

Meeting new people, computers, cooking, gardening, going out with friends, staying indoors to relax, camping, the beach, Red Sox games, musuems, aquariums and symphony hall.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet cool, interesting people, I have no preferences in this area, just as long as you are a good person and remain respectful of others. I am friendly with all kinds of people. Whatever you are like and whatever you are into, it's alright with me. Oh yeah, I expecially like talking to people with open minds, the type of people that can see the "big picture".

Music:

Mostly classic rock and classical, but also open to punk, rap, pop, swing, jazz, blues, country, soundtracks and anything else that sounds good.

Movies:

Slapstick comedy such as Airplane I and II, the Naked Gun trilogy (any Leslie Nielson film), Hot Shots I and II, Monty Phython, etc. Action films, war movies and anything based on actual historical events are always good too.

Television:

British comedies such as Mr. Bean, Mad Atter, The Thin Blue Line, Keeping Up Appearances, Falty Towers, One Foot in the Grave and The Vicor of Dibley. I also enjoy watching historical documentaries on the History Channel. Watching the Discovery channel, I learn about animals, science and the nature of the universe with all it's dimensions. Lastly, I watch the news to keep up with current world events.

Books:

I'm not a big reader, but I do enjoy good poetry, short stories and magazine articles. It's tough to sit still for so long, reading a book, since I want to get out there and have fun. Reading life's situations and learning from experience is better than any book I've ever read.

Heroes:

That clown that hung itself
