About Me

I'm a complete and total geek. I try not to show it all the time, but if you ever get me in comic mode, I slip a bit. I often make remarks about hating large masses of people, but I usually don't mean it...well...sometimes. I like nerdy science fiction/fantasy/horror and all things similar. I'm a role-playing dork, but I have the ability to not talk about it if I feel that it might get on someone's nerves (you know; if I care about not getting on said person's nerves). I'd also have to say that I have the tendency to look for humor in everything, which may or may not be considered a good thing.Feel free to im me at . americanpoet78 or y!: captain_christoph

You are The Magician

Skill, wisdom, adaptation. Craft, cunning, depending on dignity.

Eleoquent and charismatic both verbally and in writing, you are clever, witty, inventive and persuasive.

The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud. Reflecting this is the fact that the Magician is represented by Mercury. He represents the gift of tongues, a smooth talker, a salesman. Also clever with the slight of hand and a medicine man - either a real doctor or someone trying to sell you snake oil.

I Am A: Chaotic Good Human Fighter Ranger
Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
Race:
Humans are the 'average' race. They have the shortest life spans, and because of this, they tend to avoid the racial prejudices that other races are known for. They are also very curious and tend to live 'for the moment'.
Primary Class:
Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.
Secondary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.
Deity:
Tymora is the Chaotic Good goddess of luck and good fortune. She is also known as Lady Luck, and also Tyche's fair-tressed daughter. Followers of Tymora believe in the tenent that, 'Fortune Favors the Bold,' and will throw caution to the wind and trust to luck to work things out for the best. Tymora's symbol is an unmarked silver disk.

You scored as Friedrich Nietzsche. Well you're an egotistical maniac, and you are so very iconoclastic that you probably are currently lost in a post-modern Jupiter, I mean jungle of self-definition.Don't let it get you down though, someday, through a willful onslaught of reinterpretation of dated forms and ideas, you will strike on something that passes as remotely new, and people WILL be into it on the basis of how hip it is alone. Also, the average espresso drinker looks up to you.

My Interests

Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Waits, movies of all kinds, games, music, my guitars, pirates, the occult, dark and beautiful things, some poetry, fantasy art, comics, rpg's, randomness, pugs, nerdy things, nerds/dorks, sushi, pizza, Dr. Pepper, film noir, fantasy, sci-fi, dark characters, history, random questions, philosophy, computer science, tragic characters, hmm...just ask me

I'd like to meet:

Tom Waits. I'm all about meeting just about anyone, but I'd love to sit down and drink with him. I'd really like to meet a geeky girl. Girls tend to gain a few extra points on my 'my type' scale if they just have a little dork in 'em (heh). I usually have to take a couple of steps back to catch my breath when I hear that a girl that I'm attracted to is into the same books as me or if she's into geeky role playing or something of the sort. I've heard that girls lately have come to terms with dorks and that some even think they're cute. I've met NONE of these females. These things happen I guess. Oh! I almost met Ron Jeremy.

Music:

Tom Waits, The Decemberists, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Coldplay, Jethro Tull, Neil Young, AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Metallica, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Guns 'n Roses, Motorhead, The Dubliners, The Pogues, The Popes, The Dropkick Murphys, celtic music... I'm stopping the list here. Feel free to ask about anything else.

American Gods, Stardust, Neverwhere, Sandman, Coraline (See a trend?), random occult books that I find, random mythology books that I find, The Devil's Dictionary, I Am Legend, The Catcher in the Rye, Brave New World, 1984, A Separate Peace, A Farewell to Arms, Terry Pratchett books (I love the Witches and the Watch), books about Drizzt Do'Urden, The Dark Tower series, some philosophy, some poetry, some history, sci-fi, fantasy and many comics

Heroes:

George Carlin, Tom Waits, Sam Vimes, Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Shane MacGowan... perhaps a few more.
