Born into a musical family he started playing piano at 8, where at an early stage developed his passion and talent for music. As an accomplished classical singer and jazz saxophonist, he has taken part in many competitions, bands, tours and stage productions. He enrolled at university and further developed his skills in composition and arrangement in the jazz idiom, where he also came in to contact with electronic music in the studio and an interest and drive for all things digital. While working at Function Records Cape Town in 1996, he was exposed to a wide variety of producers, djs and music genres alike. By now a vinyl junkie his collection ranged from jazz to classical, psychedelic trance,downtempo, techno and progressive house. Noted performances include being a resident of the hugely successful “rise up “ parties for many years, as well as being invited to play alongside Dave Seaman, Nigel Dawson and Ian Ossia for Renaissance. Having moved to the UK in 2003, he has since been working on building a small home studio, developing his voice, and working in business development. You can expect him to get the dancefloor going with his enthusiasm for upfront minimal techno and impeccable mixing.
