Clawsome!

The weight of the world is love. Under the burden of solitude, under the burden of dissatisfaction.

About Me

I am a lover of all music genres! If you perform your music with passion, then I don't care what genre it is. I enjoy listening to and going to shows! I enjoy writing songs. I feel a need to express myself. I try to live my life like an open book. Sometimes my songs are sappy, melancholic, and apathetic. Lately, I've been trying to rise above the unhappiness. I like digital photography, but worry about archiving. I like to ride my bicycle. I enjoy drawing and painting. Finally, I'd like to thank Saluda Cymbals for allowing me to endorse their cymbals.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

current events. music. photography. graphic design. art.

I'd like to meet:

People who can help me absorb information like a sponge and not have an attitude about it when I ask a seemingly stupid question. I dislike people who belittle others. Sure first impressions say so much...but there is no need for being judgemental and not giving someone the benefit of a doubt. There is also no need for kicking people when they're down!

Music:

Dead Meadow .. width="425" height="350" Gram & EmmylouHusker Du .. .. width="425" height="350" .. Sly & the Family Stone "Thank You""Gonzo interview w/ Kieth Richards is quite funny!"Above are 5 videos from differnt genres of music I like. Just everything that doesn't suck! I'll get more specific later.

Movies:

I love all the rock movies that used to play at the Vogue Theatre on Fridays and Saturday nights...the Midnight Movies! The Kids Are Alright, Rust Never Sleeps, Song Remains the Same, The Wall, D.O.A., Tommy, Decline of Western Civilization 1 & 2, Gimme Shelter, Heavy Metal, Rock n Roll High School, Up In Smoke, The Rutles, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine, Let It Be, Help, Hard Days Night, Head, Born to Boogie, Woodstock, Rainbow Bridge, Yessongs, and of course, the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Plus, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory(the original), Muppet Movie, Koyanaskatsi, Brokeback Mountain, Faster Pusseycat Kill! Kill!, Star Wars, Dead Man, Blow Up, Pecker, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, X-Files, La Dolce Vida, Sordid Lives, Rosemary's Baby, Viva Las Vegas,

Television:

Television is evil. It consumes valuable time. Watch more google sponsored "current TV!"Since I currently do not own a TV...I've been on "YouTube" trying to find some interesting things to watch. So here's a few clips from TV archives. This First clip is Frank Zappa defending words on Crossfire (Watch FZ call John Lofton from the Washington Times an Asshole)!Wisdom of Jello! Here's 2 of my favorite drummers!

Books:

"Holidays on Ice" and "Me Talk Pretty Someday" by: David Sedaris "To Kill A Mockingbird" by: Harper Lee "Tales of the City" by: Armisted Maupin "Alas, Babylon" by Pat Frank "Geek Love" by Katherine Dunn

Heroes:

Most of my heros have let me down, but here are a few that have not. Every person in my family (Pops, Mom, Bro, Uncles and cousins, etc.) is a hero. Each have learned from lessons. Never accepting defeat and always looking on the brighter side of life. A few others include Letisha Quissenberry, Squallis Puppeteers, Kim Sorise, Gandi, Ted Bressoud, Egon Schiele, anybody that is not homophobic or racist, anybody that stands for love and peace and not hate and war (I'm trying to get in touch with my inner Hippy, this will probably piss off a lot of my so called friends)!

Everything is Beautiful!

Isn't it funny how life throws you curve balls! Home runs are possible in this life. I still don't understand why we run ourselves ragged. No one deserves the stress created by the traps of society. S...

Words created out of cigarette withdrawal!

2007 started off w/ me rejoining the Glasspack for like the 5th time. And, I bought a condo! The shares of stock I had from the late eighties finally cashed in (very un-punk)! I quit the Glasspack (no...

Litany's Last Call and Joe Manning's Leota

Litany's Last Call (LLC) is my latest musical project. This is my new musical forum. And like a true forum of voices, all voices are heard. It's like reading letters to the editor. It's my vision to s...

So I did 3/4 shows with Joe Manning that were quite fun. There's a buzz surrounding Joe's music. He's going to make the best album to come out of Louisville since that For Carnation record. I wish not...
