About Me

Online Status IconsI am Pete :D I have a girlfriend called Lauren so HANDS OFF ME!!! *hits any other girls* (that was Lauren by the way, but the point is still valid). I'm generally found around the general area of a drum kit, a skateboard or a Lauren. Occasionally I'm at work, though I try not to as much as possible, it's frowned on by "the man".

My Interests

Church type stuff, Lauren type stuff, drumming type stuff, dangerous type stuff, friend type stuff, funny type stuff, generic general type stuff.

I'd like to meet:

My girlfriend, chances are she's at home

Music:

Is a kind of sound type thing that you listen to. In my case it's quite loud. This guy is fairly good...I guess. My girlfriend is about three times as good as he is on guitar... Little punk, thinks he's so good, like I've never done this. Then there is Dream Theater. I never shut up about them, they're musically the best band in the world. But then again not everyone likes Prog/Neo Classical Metal. Anyway, here they are back in the nineties. I wouldn't mind but this is the opening track, so they haven't warmed up yet! Also, don't worry they've had a haircut since then... width="425" height="350" ..

Movies:

Shawshank Redemption, the Matrix films, Con Air, Ong Bak, films with the word Dragon in the title are generally quite good. Oh yeah, and every film could do with a little more Van Damme.... apart from Van Damme films, they could do with a little less.

Television:

Mine sucks. No seriously it really does. It takes age to start in the morning, like about 3 minutes or something. It just goes vut, vut, vut, vut, vut like a million times. Probably should get it fixed. TV's got better since Lauren bought me freeview, I got like 90 channels now. That's pretty damn cool.

Books:

Are really irritating when you are dyslexic

Heroes:

The guy who invented duct tape. Dream Theater..........*dibbles down drum sticks*.. width="425" height="350" ..This is Mike Portnoy, he's in Dream Theater. He's not bad. He's currently the top ranked living drummer in the world... width="425" height="350" ..Finally, this is Buddy Rich. He's considered to be the worlds greatest drummer ever. Buddy died back in the 80's but basically created modern drumming. This is him on the Jerry Lee Lewis show back in the early 60's. Bear in mind this is before Pop and Rock music and John, Paul, George and Ringo hadn't released a song yet... width="425" height="350" ..This sums it all up, Buddy Rich aged 61. Check out the sticking and the trebles and quadruples this guy gets on the rims of the kit around the 5-6 minute mark. I want to do this in my 60's.
