About Me

"Trust, responsibility, taking the weight for your choices and feelings, and spending the rest of your life living up to them. And above all, not hurting the object of your love". I'm passionate about everything I do and believe in, I see myself as a easy going spontaneous person and enjoy every minute I can. I am who I am because of the great people around me. Most importantly, I'm so damn happy to be here!I come from a diverse background, adopted from The Philippines when I was a lickle baby (hence I have two names i.e. Mark & Jim-Jam Jamie!) I was raised by a Croatian/ German mother and a kent-born English/ American father, but have lived in a single-parent family with my Mom and adopted brother most of my life in England. So just call me an English Fili-cro-american! Well actually I'm just half Thai, so technically I should have 'exotic' stamped on my forehead (he tells himself). Mom's now retired and living in sunny Spain where I see her to soak up the sun, indulge in my Mom's legendary cooking and to sit on the beach wandering to another place :)With my degree behind me, I'm now looking forward to a successful career and to make up for a lost childhood! I started by travelling across America to 23 different states, and took major time out to explore Florida, NY, Boston, Chicago, L.A. and Frisco to name a few! I also intend to move over there in the future.I simply love talking, I play tennis, I was President of the 5-a-side football society at univeristy, captain of my team Rio and am constantly finding new hobbies to pass time (such as drawing, writing screenplays and learning to cook). More importantly, cometh the world of work, I feel free to do whatever I want to do and I know I don't have anyone holding me back!What I've been listening/watching this week (so go listen to it too):* Terra Naomi "Jenny" (live)... I hope these Youtube links stay live. Absolutely amazing voice!

* Why Sol Campbell left Spurs for Arsenal and then for Portsmouth: "Symptomatic of the modern player's focus on personal glories, however hollow, in place of loyalty and integrity" - Wikipedia
* Excessive amounts of alcohol
* What my future holds for meThings that keep me smiling:

* Travelling the world
* The New York lifestyle
* San Francisco
* The city of Bath in summer
* Chinese and Thai food
* My crazy friends
* Every minute of the day which brings something new
* Ole Football up at Rothy Park
* Waking up besides someone
* Pro Evo tournament with the lads
* A smile from a stranger
* The future
* The weekend
* The small things in life
* Arsenal Football Club (because they make me laugh - no trophies for you this season)

I'd like to meet:

Well to be honest you really can't go through life looking for a particular type of person. The real interesting people you'll find in places you'd never expect. But for the novelty sake and the fact that it looks STUPID if this section isn't filled in, I'll fill it in!1) Someone who can open my mind up to something new, fresh and exciting. So... no Arsenal supporters, ex-girlfriends or stalkers please.2) The employers and governmental officials who use myspace to build a personal profile on you. We know you watch us!3) I'd NOT like to meet: posers, liars, fickle people and unfortunately I've met quite a few.Oh and also the people who first started the rumours that I looked like Ronaldinho, Robert Earnshaw and Tiger Woods...

Heroes:

Mom, my brother and anyone who's influenced me.Then there are my football heroes... Pele, Maradona, Klinsmann, Ronaldinho, and how can I forget - the Markyate Under-14's football team that played on in honour of me after breaking my leg during an important league game! Mmmm worth mentioning.
