"It's like a once upon a time in primary school kinda story" says the 17 year old Eddy-X with a smile on his face. "Iv'e always been a hip hop head and used to fuck around in the playground with friends and freestyle in a circle, nuttin major. My mouth always got me outta trouble, and everyone knew I had a talent with words". When his Brother DJ BLUE started DJing and introduced him to Garage (what Grime used to be called before it's eveloution) he felt compelled to play a part in the scene. As a Pre-Teen dominating little Bedroom sets and playground battles Eddy-X aslways looked for ways to make money off the music. The eventual hook up with STARZ BEATZ came about through DJ BLUE and was a mutual respect for each others work. Since those early days Eddy-X has been taking influence from absolutely everybody and anything in order to "perfect what I do" says the young lyricist.
