POPSCENE originally happened on or around the second Saturday of every month, upstairs in STARKA BAR, Brandon Street, Motherwell.
It was a unique club/pub event, born out of a general annoyance at the lack of indie disco's outwith the big cities.
In its short existance, Popscene has expanded to include nights @ BOX (Glasgow), monthly Saturdays @ STARKA (Motherwell), and one off events in various venues around the Lanarkshire area.
