If Texas were a sane place, it wouldn't be nearly as much fun. Molly Ivins

About Me

Texas girl in exile. Born in El Paso, but never lived there. Raised on a farm in Dell City until I was 4 years old, but I'm not a farm girl. Grew up in Odessa, but I successfully escaped. Lived in London for a summer, but haven't been back in way too long. Lived in Austin for 11 years and I miss it terribly. I promise I'm coming back to Texas. Really.
Newly married, 2nd-year law student in DC. We bought a cute little rowhouse--the new gigantic scoreboard at UT's stadium is the size of our lot. Lovely.
I believe in working hard and playing hard. I believe you should be kind to others. I believe a little bit of rebellion is good, but so is respect for others and especially for yourself.

Oh, and I firmly, deeply believe that it is a crime against all that is holy to buy a sports car with an automatic gear shift. Learn how to drive a stick, people. Seriously.
