It's not all about the green!

About Me

Hello to one and all. I don't really like talking about myself, but what the hay? I've been in the entertainment industry for quite some time beginning with my big break on WRC-TV . Gee, that was a long time ago. My good friend Sam was the leader of our troupe. That's why we called it Sam and Friends. When Sam retired Rolf the Dog and I considered starting another show called Sesame Street. (Rowlf worked mostly behind the scenes on that one.) Needless to say, it became a huge success. I guess I should mention a small movie we made called Hey, Cinderella! Even though it made the Rottontomates.com list, I'm still proud of the work and love that went into that movie. We still did live theater and decided to bring our variety show to television. We called it the Muppet Show and that too was a success. My other friends, like Fozzie and Piggy and Gonzo the Great decided we should try our hands at the motion pictures. Hence, the Muppet Movie. What can I say? I have a good life because I have good friends. I love to sing, I love to play the banjo. And I love to eat Dragonfly ice cream. I'm always willing to meet new people.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Yoda for one. Our paths have never crossed. (I'm green with envy. lol. My buddy Fozzie has actually met him.) I would like to meet my estranged cousin, Wilbee the Frog. He looks just like me and sometimes impersonates me. He smokes. I don't smoke. I would like to tell him that smoking is no good for the lungs, especially his amphibious lungs. I've seen that internet video floating around. I'm doubting that it was tobacco. Wilbee, please call me.

Music:

Wow! I like all kinds. I like Rock, classic rock, alternative rock, fraggle rock. You name it. I like the songs of the dearly departed Joe Raposo, who wrote the "It's not Easy Being Green" song on a napkin while visiting Frank Sanatra. Manah manah.

Movies:

I loved the Dark Crystal and the Labyrinth. I enjoy the movies of Frank Oz, like "Little Shop of Horrors" or "Indian in the Cupboard." I thoroughly enjoyed the 1921 black and white silent film "The Frogs That Wanted a King."Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
