Phil Rice aka Fhoo

I Graduated in 1992 from Chesapeake High School in Chesapeake, OH. After Graduation I went to Shawnee State University for 6 months. Than I decided to start my Journey.

On August 18th 1993, I landed at O'hare Airport in Chicago, IL. This was the start of my Basic Training for the United States Navy. (which lasted 3 months) I went through basic and stayed an extra 4 weeks for school. Afterwards I was in a Limo with 4 other guys heading back to O'hare airport. This time I was leaving Chicago for good. In the Limo we had 2 cases of Beer and a Loaf of Bread. (Is that a good combo or what??)

Sometime in November I drove to Mayport, FL to meet my ship. (USS Leyte Gulf CG-55) I was stationed on the ship, from November 1993 - November 1997. During this time I meet many good friends and seen many places. I got married on December 23, 1993 in the Duval County Court House. My Daughter Justice was also born here in 1995. Some of the friends I've meet I'm still good friends with today. (UB, Dumb Dick Derek) I've been to the following places:

I think I've named all the places we went to, while I was on the ship. Also I was on the ship when we was hit by the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. Below I have posted a link of the accident.

After I left the ship in 1997, I headed 1,130 miles to a small town of Newport, Rhode Island. I was stationed here from 1997 - 2000. This was a long and cold stay. My Son Parker was born here in 1998. This position helped me get to where I'm today.

When I left the Navy, I started working for EDS. I worked for them for 6 years. Left them to work for Area Wholesale Tire Company. I worked for them for about 11 months. Left there and now I'm working for Turner Industries here in Baton Rouge, LA.
