About Me

"I love the night life, and supporting it's functions is my thing. I like to meet new people without prejudice. Culture and Literature are my passions. I came to Tijuana in 2000 and made a whole new life for myself, from making new friends to finding the local office to pay my electricity bill (it's not that easy in such a fast moving city!). Getting used to the postal service in a new country is still a challenge for me but I'll eventually get it. The best part was to start a whole new life in a country where NOBODY knows me, I had the chance to make a new impression. I was able to open up and let my innerself explode. And I love Tijuana, a new doorway to my future (what future?). But here I am, basking in the benefits of working for US $$$ and paying very little rent. Since I moved here, many wonderful things have happened, I have made life long friends, met amazing people, discovered beer to its fullest, and I am still able to go out by myself and meet more new people (I love to talk). Supporting the local music scene has been one of my priorities since I came here, I enjoy music and believe that when you listen live with a nice cold beer in your hand, my gosh......you're in heaven!"Layout made by itsjustally Layout made by Susan

The dream I had that night.

I was in a field. A vast, grassless, sad field. It did not seem to be day or night. I was walking with my brother, the brother of my childhood, this brother of whom I must admit I never think and whom...

What makes that happen?

Children are just amazing. They tend to adapt to their surroundings and different sufferings. Sometimes I wonder if I was crossbred with a crab because when I skin my kids alive, (they could be irrita...

The Dead Girl

It was like sawdust, the unhappiness: it infiltrated everything, everything was a problem, everything made her cry- school, homework, boyfriends, the future, the lack of future, the uncertainty of fut...

From the Jawbone

After a good deal of experimenting, Topaide had evolved a way of digging the bodies out without them being torn to pieces. This involved sticking the hook under the chin and pulling on the lower jaw-b...

Who's Black Cat?

I must have been about 6 or 7 years old when I first spotted the young cat. He was all black. Black, lean, and full of grace. All in all, a nice young cat. I touched him. I touched its smooth, shiny c...
