I love art, and occasionally I make some (that usually happens deep into the night when my brain won't shut up, or when I'm simply trying to ignore my lovely wife). Haha. she knows I'm kidding... I think. Pen & Ink and scratchboard illustration are my favorites, but I dabble in all sorts of stuff. I'm a graphic designer by day, and a psychotic, tattoo-lovin' german-swede freak by night. I come from a ginormous family of 13 and rank in at number 9, even though I'm the seventh son. I've heard that a seventh son has abnormal powers, but I'm not sure what that fable refers to. Perhaps it's a reference to the fact that I can dislocate my thumbs at will, so it takes much more than mere handcuffs to detain me... Bwahaha! Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that I was born on the 14th of February, which is 2/14, and if you divide 14 by 2 you get seven. And coincidentally, seven is the number of wives that my great-great grandfather had...one for each day of the week. Whoa! And the seven days of the week were actually named after the 7 planetary bodies that were known at the time (one's actually the moon). But the really cool thing is that if you place those seven "planets" in a circle, in the order of their apparent motion, then connect the dots in the order of the days of the week, you get a perfect seven-pointed star. Did I mention that geometry is totally rad? Yeah, I know. I'm a nerd that loves geometry, and sometimes I use geometry in my art.
