"It takes a little close listening to appreciate what Kolmar has done here, but it is well worth the extra effort."-- Indie-Music.com
See a cool slideshow the Christian Science Monitor did on me.

Doug Kolmar moved to Maine from the New York City Area in 2002. He regularly plays in southern Maine and the New Hampshire Seacoast, bringing his lyrically rich songs that span, folk, blues, and jazz to coffee houses, clubs, soup kitchens, political rallies, and festivals including the Old Port Festival and Ossipee Valley Bluegrass Festival. He has released 3 CDs: 2001's The Whole Story is Long and Complicated (under the band name Dogs Gone Fishing) and Homebody/Somebody in 2005, and the full-length CD As If I Was Almost Here, in July 2006. His song Dream Darkly was chosen for inclusion in on the CD Songs of Peace, Songs of Protest
