Stuff. Stuff is always good. I like Art, Creative Writing, History/art history (Pre 1348 Medieval Gothic architeture and illuminated manuscrpts and Ancient Egyptian sculpture and papyrus texts), Watching movies by myself so I can talk along with it.
Stephen Fry. I'd like to chat about literature over a cuppa tea and some Jaffa Cakes. Ludovico Einaudi and listen to him play 'Questa Volta'. Johnny Depp and talk about stuff. Good old stuff. Bill Bailey because the guy is a fekking genius! Same goes for Dylan Moran. .. I like interesting people with stories to tell, be they meaningful or just downright bizarre. I don't judge people by what they say, so I have an open mind. I like the creative types, like artists and writers, musicians and those who just love to throw paint at things and nail old shoes to bits of wood...
The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, Adam and the Ants, Ultravox, Human League, Rosetta Stone, Bella Morte, Death cab for Cutie, Dresden Dolls, Beethoven, Placebo, Radiohead, David Bowie, Shakespeare's Sister, System of a Down, Mozart, Cradle of Filth, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Silverchair, Einaudi. I tend to like songs, not bands, but I have over 3000 cd's so I really couldn't tell you!
Niel Jordan movies (the guy who did Crying Game), Tim Burton movies, The Dark Crystal, Indie flicks, random movies that make me laugh, cry, gross me out, scare me shitless, anything but chick flicks and rubbish romantic comedies.
Bones, Q.I, Family Guy, American Dad, Time Team, My Name is Earl, documentries, Ghost Hunters (Hey, I think its neat!)
I have many, but here's my favourites: Anne Rice, Walter Kirn, Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allen Poe, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, JRR Tolkien, Bret Easton Ellis
I don't have heroes. But these people inspire me: My Mother (hats off to she who had eight babies!), my little sister Iona (she has cerebral palsey, but she never complains, the little sweetie), David Bowie (because he is always re-inventing himself), Billy Corgan (because it doesn't matter what people say, if you're smart, then show it)Bill Bailey, Bill Hicks...
