I find life in general interesting but focus mostly on Art and Music

Music:

To listen to, I love all music... well most. I sing and play piano, bass guitar, violin and a bit of Drums. I can make a recorder, flute, saxaphone, guitar, dulcimar and zither make a noise that doesn't scare off the neighborhood cats.

Movies:

Movies? Anything that invokes laughter or tears and that doesn't make me want to see my popcorn again!

Books:

Lord of the Rings, Pern series, Lion of Ireland, Eagle and the Raven...The one by Pauline Gedge 1978

Heroes:

Artists of many many Eras: ---The entire Impressionist movement. ---Dada... The abstract artwork that came out of Europe during WWI. Violent at times... but Fabulous! ---Not a big Picasso fan though there are a few that are very moving... Portrait of Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler (1910) Accordionist (1911) ---Vangough was a genius ("Fine line between genius and crazy!" as they say) but I think that he would be disappointed just how over worked his name is. Unless, of course, he was Narcissistic, then he would be very proud!

video.....a silent night.....warning this is sad....

The sadness expressed in this song is still poignant after all these years. My 2 year old and I were homeless for a few weeks in the summer of '91. It is degrading and inhuman and I wish it on no one....
