Digital Self Portraits
Wanna know some stuff about me?
Read on...
So yeah, I caved in and joined myspace. What does that mean? Nothing. I happen to have an affinity for wasting tons of time on the internet. There is one other site that I devote most of my .. time to, but I refuse to admit its' name...it's not even rated R, but it's just as shameful. (See waaay below: My most shameful addiction.)
I guess I could be considered a computer enthusiast, but don't be mislead, 'cuz I'm no geek. If you were to observe me on my computer whilst offline, you would very certainly hear many threats of violence towards my one working PC. Or, I'd be creating artwork, transforming my digital photos into masterpieces! Wanna see some examples?
Actually, I love to create all kinds of art. I've dabbled in drawing, painting, printmaking, lithography, pottery, metal arts, jewellry, web design, digital imaging, cartooning, wire & woodwork, and anything else creative! When I graduate from school, I will have earned a B.A. in Digital Media.
However, when I was growing up, I desperately wanted to be an astronaut, and meteorologist (well, really a storm chaser, but that scared my mom.) And to this day, I still love geology, and have taken (and aced, baby!) courses at school. What's even stranger is that, although I am an art student, my original plan was opera.
Opera? Yeah. I've sung since I was quite little, in school and synagogue choirs and plays. I originally joined my elementary school choir in 4th grade and remained in school district choirs until after 9th when I went to study voice privately.
I joined Temple University Children's choir during my senior year in high school, but performed in and worked on crews in multiple theater groups from grades 5-12. I continued to sing privately for two more years after high school, and sadly gave up practicing seriously.
I always wanted to be a rockstar any way! I am lucky enough to have a boyfriend, who is a wonderful musician - a guitarist, and we sound awesome rocking out together. In fact, you should go to HIS PAGE sometime.
Are you still reading this? I can't believe you are! I don't even think I'm finished this rant. But it's waaaay past my bedtime now. And I just realized that I do sound like a total nerd. ... to be continued

Uh oh...I think this is another late night rant. What the hell? Last one, I was all caught up with who knows what...but perhaps I can clarify. I'm an all around good person, creative, fun-loving, caring...and probably part crazy. Sometimes, I try to be funny...but I think I have a truely odd sense of humor which I should probably keep to myself.
I'm smart...which definitely explains my total nerdacious tendencies. I don't wear glasses though, so does that make me a closet nerd?? Uh...and being nerdalicious (coolass/hottass/nerd)...does NOT make me a geek! (See Rant #1)
And as for the weird tendancies...(ie: making up my own words-see "nerdalicious")..where the hell did they come from? However...I'm glad to be unique because that's what makes me so freakin' cool! Having fun rocks, so dammit! Sometimes, anything goes! *cough FEST cough cough*
I also aspire to be a positive influence in others' live's. Spread the good energy, make others feel good...Right now, I'm kind of a homebody, but I certainly enjoy a good chill session with my people!
I think it's once again later than I should be trying to write about myself, after a long (and quite satisfying) Thanksgiving dinner. Hope yours was too! ... to be continued???
