I am currently a sophomore at Boise State University studying English Literature and History. I work part-time at a medical clinic as a receptionist and I am the Assistant News Editor for The Arbiter, which is Boise State's student newspaper. I'm the only kid that still lives with my parents, and we have a chihuahua puppy named Moby. I have wonderful new boyfriend that for some insane reason seems to think I'm pretty great. All-in-all, this year has really turned itself around. I'm happy for the first time in a long time. It is almost summer and I plan on sleeping late and losing 15 pounds. Wish me luck!

I'd like to meet Ernest Hemingway and William Blake so I can tell them how full of shit they were. D.H. Lawrence so that I could find out whether or not he was gay or just "eccentric." I'd like to break Katherine Hepburn's legs so that I would get to be Tracy Lord in "A Philadelphia Story." I'd like to meet Claire Danes to see if I look like her as much as people say I do. I want Weezer to know how many times they zen-ed me out when I was ready to break down. I want to find the ass hole that swiped my stereo and bash HIS car windows in with a baseball bat. Other than that, there are just a lot people that I'd like to see again, unfinished business kinda stuff, you know?
Weezer. Every CD they've ever released. For sentimental reasons, the Blue Album is my definite fave. Only In Dreams always makes me want to cry. One of my new faves is Death Cab for Cutie (Thank you Danny.) Saves the Day, NOFX, Kelly Clarkson, the Black-Eyed Peas, Goo Goo Dolls, the Ataris, and New Found Glory. Now, I'm not a complete loser, there are some really awesome opening bands that I've seen at concerts that I actually liked. The two most impressive being Forgive Durden and Lola Ray. I guarantee you that if its from the Eighties I'll probably like it. David Bowie, the Police, the B-52s, the Buggles, Blondie, Joan Jett.
Where to begin... I love British comedies: Saving Grace, Snatch, Formula 51, Waking Ned Divine, the Full Monty. Gushy romantic movies are an unfortunate soft spot of mine. Sense and Sensibility, French Kiss, Titanic, Romeo and Juliet, etc. I love musicals which would include the slightly-bastardized cinematic version of Rent, Newsies (does anyone else want to make-out with Christian Bale) Chicago, and much to my dismay: Moulin Rouge. Best movie made before 1970: The Philadelphia Story, hands down. Best DVD purchased in the last year: The Devil Wears Prada. Best movie I've seen in the year? A tie between Pan's Labyrinth and The Prestige.
Two words: Gilmore Girls. And I'm not apologizing for it. I watch Will and Grace every night. South Park, Family Guy, and Futurama on Adult Swim (ditch the Simpsons and bring back Futurama, Matt Groening!)I'm in love with America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, Top Chef, and Beauty and the Geek. Burn in Hell American Idol!
Too many to name. Most recent: Citizen Girl, The Devil in the White City, King Leopold's Ghost, A Respectable Trade, The Innocent, The Exiled, The Uncrowned Queen, the Princes of Ireland, the Boleyn Inheritance.
Melissa Etheridge and she's the only one.
