Big Lane,Central Village,St.Catherine Jamaica,is where Willpow aka Willpower was born on May 14, 1976.Born in a time when political violence was on a high.Mother and Father both loved music, so Willpower grew up to the sounds of music and musical instruments all around.
Willpower always loved singing ever since he was a child, and his father always encouraged him to write and sing his own songs.He began writing when he was twelve,and his skill slowly developed untill it could no longer be contained within.At the age seventeen he really sarted to take music serious,that's when he started vocalising openly.
In 2000 music became real when he was given a chance to record with Master Mind music, where he recorded a sigle called Fire Bun,also a combination with Survivalist called Hands and Heart.I KNOW was recorde for Rise and Shine records,THE PRAYER, EAST COAST,LOVE ZONE were done for Glone Records,BIG THANGS, SAY WAH, were done for DJ Cochise CORO Records.
Willpower is a lyrical genius with his own unique style,and posses relenltess potential.He brings a real down to earth rebel vibe, but yet spiritual.A rastaman at heart , whose musical attributes know no boundaries.WILLPOWER IS A STAR ON THE RISING.
