Drew Courtney aka. 2-Deep, and Mike Merrifield aka. MERF G make up the group XPLYCYT this MidWest combonation is like no other with 2-Deep's voice and style and Merf G's lyrics and twists they cant be touched. 2-Deep first began writing and recording his own music at 12 years old on a computer in his friends basement he soon met up with Shawn O'Dell aka. 4-Play and the released their first cd entitle iLLi Steel City in June of 2003( in stores now!!), the cd sold more than 5,000 copies its first month in stores. Shortly after 2-Deep and 4-Play decided to part ways for personal reasons 4-Play soon put out a second cd entitled Phlypsyde which is in stores now. D soon meet up with another rapper from the MidWest named Merf G who has been puttin it down for the 618 for a while but never hit stores, from there they formed the group XPLYCYT, a hard hitting, style o' so fly group that is about to take the MidWest by storm be on the look out for that new ablum droppin this summer 06' entitled "Survival of Tha iLLest" and keep ur ears open because u will be hearin the name XPLYCYT alot get used to it!!!!I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
