About Me

WORK IN PROGRESS Well I'm a widower, who still has a 15 year old son that I'm trying to raise to the best of my ablity. I love him very much and we are very close to one another. I also have my 23 year old son and his family living with me. That family would include his young bride and a beautiful granddaughter that makes my heart smile. Besides losing my wife, I've lost a son, a daughter, my younger sister and my best friend. All have gone on ahead to the next world. I work full time as a paramedic and so I see death and despair nearly every day. So you might think I would be living out of a Jack Daniel's bottle and have a steady diet of Prozac and Valium. But I don't, I have extreme faith in our Lord God and though I'm not your orthodox Christian, my faith in Jesus Christ is strong. Life is journey that we all must travel. It has it mountains as well as it's valleys. We do not travel the road alone, which is good. Some travel with us, others will come after us and there are those who have went on ahead of us. But we are where we are and need to realize that. We need not to spend too much time looking back or looking ahead. The old saying "Stop and smell the roses" is a favorite of mine. So life continues, let's see what it brings!
