We're a five-piece heavy rock band from East Kent, but are unusual in a number of ways. We have both a male and a female vocalist who harmonise together making vocals a big part of our sound. We've recently experimented with and decided on a more progressive sound, which any subsequent material will be infused with. We also take great pride in the blend of our carefully constructed music underneath profound lyrics. We've recently split up, but are leaving our MySpace up for you to enjoy our music - feel free to leave comments, and message us if you'd like any of our releases listed below.
We write our own material and released a two-track demo album, "Nobody's Perfect", in April 2006.
Our six-track EP, "Purity Unfurled", was released in September 2007 to great enthusiasm. The official CDs are now SOLD OUT, but other copies are available. There is a teaser trailer clip for the EP below, and a few tracks (including the classic "Nihil Est Innoxium") in the Music Player above.
A third and final eight-and-a-half-minute release, "Wait So Long", was distributed free, along with the Gingerbread Studios Dance Remix of "Nihil Est Innoxium", at our final gig on April 12th 2008 at The Pit - Diatribe would like to give a HUGE thanks to everyone who made the gig as successful as it was!
Big thanks to Nick Mayes at New Day Music Studios for his time, effort and invaluable advice with the EP and "Wait So Long"!
