At the age of 16, I found myself surrounded with music. Everything I did, everything I said or even watch had music in it. I figure out that music is the soul of life. Yet, I didn't play any instrument. I got my parents to buy me a Jonson electric guitar with a 6 inch amp for my 16th birthday.
Inspired by my guitar heroes, (Jimmy Page, Van Halen, Linde, etc.), I started to learn songs to play along with them. That became an obsession. For some reason, that wasn't enough... I wanted to try to remake some of my favorite songs. So I downloaded a computer program to simulate drums, and I recorded my guitar along with it.
At the age of 17, I got together with high school friends Jesse, Brandon, Zack, and Stephanie to create a band that adopted the name Dark Side Of Eden. With Jesse on lead guitar, Zack ..boards, Brandon on drums, and Steph on vocals, another guitarist would have been too much, so I bought a bass guitar to completely get the band started. That is what started me into learning multiple instruments. I had taken chorus in High School, so I did back vocals as well.
The band only did two school performances before it went down the drain. Working with friends when everyone wants to be the leader is not fun. We tried to keep practicing, but it didn't work for long. So I decided to keep going as a solo job.
With the years, I got with my friends Daniel and Slavik to form Shadows Of Doom, which only accomplished one gig in The Vinyl, Downtown. That was the first time that "The Heartless" and "The Angel Of Darkness" were preformed live. It also went down the drain.
Now, for the past year or so, I've been working on my new project on which I go under the name of Andre Linoge, (Real Name Izy Alvahuante). I've been writing music, recording, and taking my time to make this my best work ever. I'm still working on more music to be done for my demo album Wicked Game. Hopefully this won't go down the drain.
Enjoy!!
