Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1979, raised in the metropole of Sao Paulo, I’m a musician who chose the guitar as my instrument.From a non-musical family, I started to play at the age of 12, influenced initially by rock and popular music but developing an interest in every other kind of good music. Although I consider myself mainly a self-taught musician, I have studied with some of the best private teachers in both Brazil and London, who have helped me to approach all the different styles of music and rhythm I wanted to be able to play such as jazz, be bop, blues, Latin music, bossa nova, R & B, funk, etc… which I’m still trying to incorporate into musical vocabulary, not limiting myself to just one thing.I moved to London, UK in 2005, willing to study and play music with people from all around the world and have lived here ever since.Believing that music is an endless search of improvement, development and learning, I continue on my lucky journey trying to always get better as a person and an artist and enjoying everything life has given to me.
