bacground I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Trell Ratliff started out as the singer of Head of State but is now workin on his solo projects. He began writing music at an early age and thru out his highschool years and college days, all he ever focused on was the music. He claims to be birthed as a musical artist in 2000 after TP-2.com. "TP-2.com was the album that made me decide music was my calling. R.Kelly birthed me and raised me into this music industry. Sam Cooke ordained me, Johnnie Taylor grooved me, Ron Isley soothed me, and I accepted the blessings, the callings."During his stay in Decatur, GA, Sin-City Record label discovered his sound as a uniqueness. Til this day, Balladz and SinCity has a strong relationship and has projects in the work. TrellBalladz also has been networking with Message from St. Petersburg, FL and Alabama DJ Daddy RICH.After being home from Georgia for two months, TrellBalladz was ready to settle down for awhile and not focus too much on his music. He was introduced to Ladie Mysteek and knew then that he had help and a reason not to give in because she gave him a different inspiration. Then later he was introduced to NC rapper, Cocky Streetz and knew that this new movement was only a few steps forward. Influences: Trell is most inspired by R.Kelly, Prince, Ron Isley, Sam Cooke, Johnnie Taylor, and various younger artist that are in the game now that write most of their own music such as Trey Songz and Ne-Yo. Pretty Willie, Usher, METHRONE & 3Piece. Other influences, the main influences ME and MY DAILY LIFE EXPERIENCES.
