Born in Richmond County of Augusta, Georgia. Raised in Washington County, GA by both parents, and three siblings. He is rooted from a musical background, from which his mom is a singer in the church choir, his sister also sings, his older brother is an aspiring rap artist and younger brother is a football player, which of course is not music but show the versatility of talent in the family.Although music was a big part of his life growing up he did not start singing until the age of nine years old. Always having an interest in poetry, and upon entering middle school, he got involved in the crafts of art and poetry and that started an entirely new journey for himself.
A young motivated young man who has came from the ups and downs in his life that has learned what it takes to be apart from the rest. First startingfrom the well know "Glass City" of Toledo, Ohio, Ricwil put himself in the midst of other artists as well as producers to make a name for himself. He began his dream with an independent label "OPM Musik Werk & Film", working with Simon Phoenix & Charlie Numbas. They saw much promise in th young artist and were moved by his creative writtings as well as his soulful sounds. Ricwil then later became acquainted with another independent label in Cleveland, Ohio; "Tomahawk Records LLC.". The members included were Chief Network, Citizen Cain, and D-Gambit. They took Ricwil under thier umbrella seeing how they performed Hip Hop and combining it with soulful R&B, their flava of music had a sweet twist to it! It wasn't long after that the four of them were performing live local shows at "Peabody's", downtown Cleveland, and "The Agora Theater". Their performances were a hit having the crowd always wanting more.
Later on Ricwil had to depart and relocate to North Carolina near the "Queen City" Charlotte, NC. Now working with "T-Rome Entertainment" as a songwriter along with his creative writtings and heartfelt music, Ricwil brings music that soothes the souls of many and an album that will awaken all of your emotions from within...
