The Superágua project came out, initially, as the soundtrack for the surf movie Trocando as Bordas by the poet, writer and surfer Pepe Cesar, in which the dj and producer Jonas Rocha as well as the guitar player and also producer Ulisses Cappelletti combined electronic music with an organic concept influenced by Jamaican Dub, Brazilian music, funk from the 60s and 70s and Jazz.Even before their first Album was released by the carioca label Zoo Records in 2002, some of the tracks were already part of European and Brazilian compilations such as the album Organico/Sintetico by the famous Brazilian producer Dudu Marote. The track named after the project also had the participation of Sabrina Malheiros, singer of great potential who has already conquered the European lounges. Released in England by the label Reverberations, the track was remixed by the House dj and producer Asad Rizvi and got popular all over Europe's dance floors. Its great debut happened at the Humaita Pra Peixe festival, in 2004 and was considered by the audience and critics one of the best shows in that festival. However, the Superágua project hasnt stopped. They have just performed at the Tim Festival (2005 edition), featuring the singer and composer Orlandivo, one of the main creators of Sambalanco in the 60s and 70s, and have already started working on their second album.
