Actually I don't watch alot of TV. But when I do I go for the mindless entertainment such as South Park, King Of The Hill, The Simpsons, That 70's Show, American Idol. etc. YUP, DVR is a wonderful thing, you can record and watch endless hours of mindless entertainment.
