My friends are pretty interesting...

I love reading, films, comedy, art, exploring and adventures (both big and small), spending time with my mates, getting very drunk preferably on rum or wine and laughing as much as possible. I also rather like cooking, I have recently discovered - it can be fun! I've just started Yoga as well and am totally in the honeymoon stage - it's amazing!
I'd like to meet:
Never meet your heroes...it can only end in tears. Aside from that, I'd like to meet Margeret Atwood, Lauren Laverne, Annie Mac and PJ Harvey. I would take a hanky just in case.

Movies:
Heathers, Almost Famous, The Big Lebowski, Adaptation, Mean Girls, Being John Malkovich, Boys Don't Cry, Saved, Million Dollar Baby, Leaving Las Vegas, Requiem for a Dream, Walk the Line and loads more.
Television:
Mostly comedy: The Mighty Boosh, Spaced, Black Books, Big Train, Green Wing, Scrubs, Shameless. I also like 24, Lost, Desperate Housewives and other such big budget, low braincell guilty pleasures.
Books:
Any and all by Margeret Atwood, but especially Oryx & Crake, The Blind Assassin and Cat's Eye. I also like Ian McEwan very much, particularly Atonement and Amsterdam. Other than that Katherine Mansfield's short stories are pretty spectacular and Roahl Dahl, obviously, although I am currently having a sci-fi binge. Anything post-apocalyptic is good (preferably nuclear holocaust or some kind of plague please. Not that I'm fussy of course.) but experiments gone wrong also gratefully received.
