Hard work and determination has been my model all my life. I know that one has to show more so then talk about what he or she can do. Ever since I could remember I've had a passion for music. I always wanted to be that person on stage performing selling out arenas. At the age of 14 I was one of the founding members of an R&B group called U'Nek (pronounced Unique).While in the group I learned the ins and outs of the music industry from booking shows to scheduling appearances. I assumed the position of co-manager of the group along with our manager I led promotions and bookings. My first hand at booking and promoting a show was in Charleston, SC when I booked U'Nek's first show with J Records recording artist Mario at a local mall. We had the opportunity of opening up for B2K and Bow Wow on there Scream 2 and 3 tours. On this tour I along with our group manager promoted and booked our shows working with B2K's and Bow Wow's managers. Within our group I was the led person talking to radio personalities getting our music played on the radio. I secured label auditions with Sony Urban and Universal records.Unfortunately our group broke up because of internal conflict, but I left the group gaining a lot of knowledge about the music industry.
