About Me

Here is our story in a nutshell. 3 of us used to be in a band called GRAND NATIONAL. We recorded an extended play compact disc in Los Angeles called Kingsize that opened many doors for us, we had a great producer, fantastic Canadian mixer, Hollywood manager, a powerful publicist and a hot shot NYC lawyer. We were in several national magazines like Magnet, Drum!, Amplifier, Revolver, etc., and we got to play great rooms all over the east coast like The Metro in Chicago and Mercury Lounge in NYC, things should have been good! Even though the future seemed bright we all kinda seemed miserable. We were frustrated and tired and eventually we broke down and the band quickly dissolved in 2003 with no farewell show, Brian took a well needed break, Jeff continued to play with Last Days Of Radio & Alex played with a few projects as well. By June of 2004, inspired and rested Brian had amassed a great collection of songs that he played for Alex and Jeff. Everyone agreed that the music was as good if not better than GN and the spark had once again been lit. This time around though we make music for our happiness only and it feels like it did when we first picked up instuments. We named the band Humphrey, got ourselves a fourth member named A.J. and vowed that if it ever becomes anything but fun we won’t do it.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
