GOD has given me a gift of communication to people through MUSIC. Because of this I have had the Honors to meet and work with some wonderful humans on our planet. From the late Sylvester and John Lee Hooker, DEO has Recorded and or performed with Such artist as Lenny Williams, Members of Sly and the Family Stone, Graham Central Station, Tower of Power and Santana, The Pointer Sisters, June Pointer, Milton Burle, Danny Gans, the Las Vegas PU, and all through the 80's he was the steady drummer for Bay Area Favorite Frank DiSalvo and Rainbow Sky, just to name a few of a long list of great Artist and Entertainers. But the greatest of them all are my musical brothers and sister who are my family, THE SHEETS and SYNSES, Chris Domino, Pat Duffey, Jimmy Perito, Archie White, Rob Pool, Judy and Woodrow McDowell and my Blood brother Adrian (DRIAN) Barrios. Most part of the 90's I was a San Francisco Yellow Cab driver where I've met so many wonderful people, Famous and not so, just to support my habit of music and I had a lot of fun doing it. I am currently back with my former group The Sheets which released their retro CD (Incarcerated) late 2005 and the group has been working on their New CD (Just Released) soon to be released. Released date has been delayed due to illness in the family. He can also be heard on the new SYNSES CD at CD Baby.com. New tracks are awaiting his presents in the studio for the new SYNSES CD. Thanks to Woodrow McDowell for believing in me. Amadeo's career has put him in all sorts of musical styles and diverse playing. The most fun song writing experience and playing has been with his long time Friend and Sheets member, Chris Domino. In the studio we just connect and electricity blows out breakers. With the combination of Pat Duffey, Adrian Barrios (My Brother) and Jimmy Perito, I have never felt such a creative family. A New Sheets CD is now in the making as well the new SYNSES CD also. And last but least my brothers of THE SHEETS and SYNSES, whom without their love and support during this time of hardship made it alot less painfull for the children and myself. We would of had a much harder time. To my Daughter and Son's, Josephine Marie, Edouard Henjie and Amadeo Henjie Jr. (MO). My extended family of Andrew, George, Dustin, Leah, Leahi, Andy and Betsy Legg. We are family. Not to mention my long lost son Jason whom I have always worried and cared about. My niece's Adrianna and Azeleah. My Good life time friend Linda Benavidez and My Sis-in Law Leah Goodwin. You are all my family and I love you all. I have learned so much of life form you all. I am who I am and have never been anybody or more than me, but, I have worked and played with some great artist and most beautiful people in my life. There are so many more I would like to mention and share with you, but I don't think I have the Space.
