About Me

Root Down is a 25 year old breakbeat DJ, originally from Merthyr Tydfil, now living in Cardiff. Having teamed up with the latest addition to the Break-Inz boys - Alex Spencer (Akronist) Root Down has begun producing break-beat orientated music. Such a passion for powerful music derives from an early age, memories of his mother playing records by the likes of New order, Gary Numan, Eurythmics & UB40 has constructively shaped his taste for rhythmic beatz & electronic music. Ground breaking tracks like Future sound of London's 'Papua new Guinea' & Orbital's 'Belfast' soon found Lloyd, & helped guide him into the unknown world of music, where he discovered what makes him tick, what makes him want to wake up every morning & what provides unexplainable intrinsic values. He dreams that one day he will have the opportunity to give back to music...what music has given him.
