DMX Motorsports is a Harley Vrod Drag Racing Team which races in the AMRA (American Motorcycle Racing Association) . We are based here in West Michigan along with one other team that races in our series.
DMX Motorsports is nationally ranked every year within the top 10 in points. This past season DMX Motorsports finished 3rd in the Vrod class and 17th in the Eliminator class. Last season, we suffered through many engine failures with our last engine builder, Don Tilly, out of Statesville, NC. But, this year we decided to take on an engine builder named Jeff Flora out of South Bend, Indiana, in order to make sure that we have a chance for winning the national championship.
We have built DMX Motorsports into an elite six seven member team this year.
Crew Chief: Tim Simmons
Tim has huge general knowledge on mechanics and machine operation. Tim has been a friend of Mark's for 5 years now.
Engine Department: In House
We have decided to bring all of our engine work inside.
Crew: Gary Wiers & Jeff Handwerg
Gary comes to our race team from a very interesting family background. His brother, Paul Wiers, was involved with R&D at Harley during the design of the VRod's motor. But, Gary also has over 38 years of drag racing experience. Jeff is in the heating and cooling business and has a great deal of knowledge on mechanics and computers. Jeff has been a long time friend of Mark's for 10 years.
Web Designer and Photographer: Guy
Guy has been our web designer and team photographer since the beginning. Guy has been a friend of Mark's for over 20 years.
Marketing and Advertising: Karen Mensch
Karen has a degree from Western Michigan University, and has been putting together all of our promotional events and local charity rides for our team.

Cooper joined the team on January 29, 2007. And we are hoping for big things from our newest rider. We just have to get him out of that car seat first. hahahahahaha!!!
DMX Motorsports is here to promote our sponsors by holding events locally for you, their prospective customer. Our sponsors like us being on MySpace to help promote their products and services, and offer you chance to try them at a reduced cost. Also, by promoting at our events, it makes the experience much more fun for everyone.
A great way to meet us in person is at one of our events, or better yet, stop by our Race Garage on Friday nights. The Race Garage is open to the public from 7:30 pm 'til 11:00 pm, and you are extremely welcome to stop by, and hang out with us. We enjoy hanging around the Race Garage to relax from the hard week, with good friends and good times around the bon fire. We invite you to join us before you head out to the clubs, if you feel the need to enjoy a beer and have some time to kill.
