I love dancing, period costumes, dance costumes and vintage clothing, backseamed stockings and garters, corsets, sequins and glass beads, cereal, stimulating conversations with intelligent friends, flared skirts with tiny waists, Hello Kitty, pin-up art, sustainable farming practices, Golden Spoon, Dita Von Teese, high heeled shoes, sewing, drawing when I have the urge, cats, SUSHI, organic produce, scrapbooking and rubber stamps, my awesome and hilarious family, and my sweet Monte, the love of my life fo sho.
Other dancers, other people who have no idea what it's like to be drunk and don't care when people make fun of them about it, organic foodies, costumers, sewing folks and designers, happy people who respect their bodies and love to work out.
Glenn Miller, Amr Diab, Benny Goodman, Apoptygma Berserk, Louis Prima, RUSH, Frontline Assembly, HAREM, Switchblade Symphony, Tool, Hakim, Pantera, Rasputina, Harry Saroyan, Portishead... pretty eclectic. I really and truly cannot stand mainstream rap music and the idiotic culture that comes along with it. Make it go AWAY!!!!!!!!!!
No scaries, unless I feel like staring at the ceiling all night. Lots of funny. Death to Smoochy and Toy Story are my favorites!

I love fashion history and photography books- I have some Olivia, "Everyday Fashions of the 1940's", a collection of Victorian era Harper's Bazaar illustrations, etc. Oh, and did I mention I have a SIGNED COPY of "Burlesque and the Art of the Teese"? HELL YEAH! Oh, you meant books to read? I loved Anna Karenina and To Kill a Mockingbird. My two favorites to this day. I just finished Madame Bovary, but before that I read Michael Pollan's "The Omnivore's Dilemma" and I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who can get their hands on it.
