About Me

Alright, after much encouragement, I am going to elaborate on my bio a little. I graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and while I was there, I realized my desire to sing. I sang with a few ministry teams during those years, as well as choirs and department productions, and also with my brothers as a quartet whenever I was home. After college, I returned to Louisville, where I had opportunities to sing at my home church, Valley View Church, as a soloist, in a duet, and a quartet. After singing with this quartet for about three years, I met a guy named Stacey Murphy and in July of 2005, I accepted the tenor position with his Journeymen Quartet of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. We sang quite a bit during my tenure, all over the eastern U.S. and the midwest. It was a great experience, but after months of prayer, the group retired in November of 2005.
While traveling with the Journeymen, we sang alongside a group called The Stamps Quartet. Little did I know that I would audition for the group in January of 2006, and I began singing with the group full-time that February. The Stamps Quartet is the oldest group in southern gospel music, founded in 1924, in Texas, and the group also sang backup for Elvis Presley during the 1970's. The group travels all over the U.S., and we sang in Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand this past year. If we're in your area in 2007, please come out and meet us. www.thestampsquartet.com
