I like groove music that comes from the heart. Top of the list...John Martyn, you really should check him out. I owe a debt of gratitude to to 2 men: James Jamerson for turning me onto Electric Bass and Danny Thompson for hipping me to Double Bass (and also for being a total gent on the occasions I've met him.) Theres too much good music to list and the sad thing is, theres too much I'll never get to hear in my lifetime....
.....I like slushy 1930's/40's romances. I'd fallen in and out of love with Bet Davis and Barbara stanwyck before I was ten. I like a good movie but prefer a good book....
Digital TV is f*****g my life up: Too much history channel!
Ray Browns Double Bass studies, Vol 1.I'll let you know how I've gotten on in ten years.
