    My Interests

Natural Health, spending time with close friends, out door activities like hiking, nature walks and white water rafting. I've considered taking up martial arts as a form of sport and/or just to satisfy my curiosity. One day I will have to pursue this interest and decide on which form of martial arts I think would be best for me. I enjoy traveling and hope to have the opportunity to travel to all of the countries that I wish to see during my life time. I like learning about different cultures, seeing and experiencing new things about other countries and people from around the world.

    Music:

Too many music artist to name in this small space. I like Latin Jazz, Classical, Indian, gospel, R&B, Hip Hop, Neo Soul, Funk, Instrumental, Celtic, Brazilian, Dance Hall Reggae and some types of Asian music. I tend to be a little diverse when it comes to music.

    Movies:

I love Comedy and Good Drama movies with a well thought out and good story line. I LOVED Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I enjoyed Crash very much--a very thought provoking movie. Oh yes and Madame Butterfly was excellent and so was Frida. A movie that I saw with my mom as a young girl about a young Brazilian lady that I have always remembered and liked is called Black Orpheus. I also enjoy foreign films--yes, even the subtitled ones. :o) smile

    Television:

I like Daystar Christian TV Channel, especially the Joni Show. I LOVE Globe Trekker and I'm usually glued to the TV when it comes on. I like and enjoy watching BBC News (international news), PBS and some of their British TV shows, Malcolm In The Middle is crazy funny to me...I love to watch it when I have time as it helps me laugh. Laughing is good for the soul and helps to reduce stress and tension so whenever I happen to stumble upon this quirky yet hilarious show I always watch it. I like King of the Hill cartoon...I find it oddly humorous. I also enjoy watching the Bernie Mac Show and Frasier....old school shows include: Cheers, Good Times, In Living Color and a few others.

    Books:

I LOVE Books and consider myself a book worm who has out grown all of my bookcases. I tend to read mostly nonfiction.
